Ted Selden Art

Cookies: Charcoal on paper

Ted Selden's Comments:
Not much to say about this one. I was looking over some old school projects and I found this one sitting around. I forget exactly what the assignment was: however, we are looking at three cookies positioned like a triangle. I remember that my aim for this project was to attempt to define the space inside the frame. I wanted the audience to see this less as a still life of a cookie and more as a mountain crevice. The dark shadows to the side remind me of a cliff face and the kind of rocky corners one would see while rock wall climbing. Not much to it, but I like the charm.

David's Comments:

I'm getting hungry.
