Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 23

Thorium charged past me, his weapon becoming a blur of steel. The room shook as the General shattered Thorium's attack easily. Before I could register movement it was in front of me a second later I felt my gut pulse with pain before my feet left the ground.

The window behind me shattered with my force of impact, and the far wall behind that dented inward before I slumped to the ground. My body strangely didn't even feel the perceived pain, even though I found it hard to actually move. I saw Thorium clashing with the General through the busted window. After trying to move again I decided to sit and watch, allowing my body to slowly heal itself.

The General held six blades in it's hands, and was relentlessly striking at Thorium. He had formed a shield of sorts, but each blow tore right through the metal, cutting into him with expert precision. The General was obviously avoiding vital organs and swiftly slicing muscle and bone. Already Thorium was supporting himself with metal braces, using his energy to keep his body moving in a structure of mechanical parts.

I was honestly surprised, despite the pooling blood, Thorium retained his cool, focusing on defense as the two struck back and forth. However Thorium was pressed into a low table, the structure fell and he collapsed. The General moved swiftly down after him, and I forced myself to my feet in order to see and possibly assist.

The General had him pinned, each of the six blades pinned Thorium to the ground. His breathing had become heavy, and I struggled with my suddenly aching body as I moved to help. I watched as his eyes rolled back into his head, his body lighting up with energy. The blades holding him changed form as they were exposed to that light. They began glowing a sickly green color, which held for a few seconds before changing to a deep red and then exploding in a cloud of shrapnel. The General was shredded in the process, but Thorium was completely unconscious and severely wounded. I sat down next to him and mentally set up a barrier over the doorway before beginning to try and seal his wounds. As I did, I tried something desperate. I had to let the others know where we were, I knew I could send mental signals, but I hadn't been successful. I prayed this time would be different as I tore a piece of my shirt to seal a particularly deep cut.

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 22

Metudo
“They're moving down towards us.” I said, looking over at Thorium. We were crouched in a very sterile hall. The white dim lit walls were suffocating.

“I'm guessing there's no way out going up then.” He replied.

“The Solarus seem to have backed off for now.” I said, sitting down to catch my breath. “What do you think?”

“What do I think?” He sat next to me. “I think we're screwed.”

“What's the chance this is just one of Avarus' bases? We just happened to stumble in on?”

“Not good. Too many Solarus.”

“Yeah, not to mention the more powerful creatures leading them. I've never heard of anything remotely like these things.”

“They are doing something down here.” Thorium said.

“Yeah, its sterile. From the images I'm getting from the others, there are other floors... Looks like eight... Maybe more. Each floors serves a different purpose.”

“Right. Well why don't we check one of these rooms?”

“We'd have to risk getting cornered.” Thorium stared at me for a while and I sighed. “Alright, I'll keep you covered. Let's go.”

We went down our chosen hall until we Thorium picked a door and kicked it in. There was an odd structure in the center of the room. Panels were laid out along the circular surface, I couldn't figure out the panels and saw a clipboard full of notes. Unfortunately I didn't recognize the language, but I folded the sheets and slipped them into a pocket anyway.

“Hey check this out.” Thorium said. I went over to where he was standing. There was a glass window, on the other side was a conveyor belt. I watched as pieces of black metal materialized on the belt, were assembled, then carted off to somewhere else.

“Solarus.”

“Looks like this belt can make about one a minute.”

“We can't assume he only has one belt.” I said.

“You would be correct.” A voice came from the doorway. I turned to see a blue plated figure with six limbs standing there. It had all the hallmarks of a Solarus.

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 21

Next

I tried to focus my eyes, but my body was aching all over, it hurt to move. I saw the remaining heads filling my sight. Like a ripple, strength began to return to my limbs. I managed to shift my neck up, and saw the end of my blade attached to my chest. It was blood red, and flowing. My mind slowly formed connections as the creature approached me. I pulled the blade out my chest, decision made. The fluid of the blade became clear a pungent odor immediately flowed off it. I turned it towards the oncoming heads, spraying it into their gaping jaws.

Their movements slowed almost immediately, and I quickly met their attack with my own. In a few simple slashes the remaining heads were laying on the ground dead, the beast defeated. My own rush of adrenaline now spent I collapsed and let sleep take me; only vaguely hearing three sets of footsteps heading our way.

Jato
We arrived just as Anatos finished his fight, Lark went to bandage him and I hunted for the others. I found Moot collapsed in pain and directed Lark over to him; where hopefully she could get some salve on his burns. It didn't take long from there to spot Neko, Leukos and Odin asleep. Thankfully not so deeply asleep that I couldn't rouse them.

“So who are we still missing?” Odin asked, looking over the group after waking up.

“It looks like half of us are still wandering around. Probably in pairs.” Neko observed.

“They're probably further down.” Leukos said. “When you were unconscious you were being taken down by an elevator. They might have gone further down before the capsules shorted out.”

“Seems pretty reasonable. If they're above us, they'll probably be heading down too, since that seems to be our only option in this place.” Neko said.

“Right, so we just need to find more stairs down.” Odin said as he lifted the still unconscious Anatos. I hefted Moot onto my shoulders and Leukos helped Zephos to his feet.

“Alright, let's keep it together guys.” Neko said taking the lead. “We'll get out of this, somehow.”

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 20

“Why do you fight?” One of the heads spoke suddenly. We readied our weapons as the largest head lowered itself a little. “Our Master only wishes to converse with you.”

“What! He's been trying to kill us!” Neko spat back.

“You have entered his home, armed. However all of the traps were designed for capture, not to kill.” It's main head lowered again.

“Yeah he wants to catch us to take our power, then he'll kill us.” Neko said.

“Unless you willingly give. He offers your old lives back in return. Your powers for the lives of your loved ones.”

“I saw how he honors that promise.” Odin said.

“An illusion. A necessary one. He could return your family to you Odin, but only if you give him your gift.” It was now hovering close enough for me to smell its unwashed scales.

“I have no reason to believe you.” Odin said calmly.

“What of you Neko? Your friends returned, your lover restored. Do you not wish the best for everyone?”

“I'm not falling for that trick again.” She said.

“Leukos? Surely you would like to have your parents back, your brother, your friends?” I hesitated, I could almost touch its enormous red eye as it swayed there, slowly.

“N-No. Not like that. I can't...”

“Upsetting.” As it spoke a golden cloud engulfed us. Immediately my vision began to fade as I fell into a deep sleep.

Anatos
It took a while before Moot could walk easily on his own; but we had made slow progress down the stairs. However it wasn't long after we reached the bottom that we heard a large series of explosions coming from nearby. We followed the sounds as swiftly as we could manage, and soon stumbled onto a scene of eight giant snakes surrounding Neko, Leukos and Odin. I started moving but Moot held me back.

Something's not right.” He said. I saw one of the heads slowly approach the group on the roof, and strained to try and hear what was going on. Then I saw a small puff of golden gas and the three fell down. I pulled Moot along.

We gotta help them. He stumbled a little then caught pace.

Careful, all eight heads are part of one creature.” He said before beginning to climb one of the roofs. I was in much better health so I charged forward and drew my staff, and launched myself into the air with a thin jet of water. I quickly closed in on the group of sleeping people. I switched the steady stream of water from a staff to a blade and cut into the head that was wrapping itself around the sleeping people. I felt bone, but I didn't go any deeper.

It shrieked in pain and thrashed wildly, sending me back into the air. I used some water to catch myself, letting the cool spray fall back on me. Below I could see Moot was resting on one of the roofs and the other seven heads had their attentions fixed on me. The eighth moved slowly, its wound bleeding freely.

I let gravity catch hold and charged back down, landing blade first on one of the heads. I felt my blade sink into its skull and waited as the neck shuddered before slowly collapsing to the ground. Two down. Even as I thought this I had to move as the other six were quickly converging on me. I ran along the dead length until I spotted a chance and jumped towards one of the open jaws.

With a quick stab upwards I cut through the soft mouth and into the brain. I again felt the body shudder as death overtook it and moved before I was caught. However as I backed out I was simultaneously knocked back in as another head came in close and pressed me into the now dead throat. With a quick blade extension though I quickly cut through. Again the head was waiting for me and rammed my back.

I felt my back twinge from the force, but wasn't ready for the second head to fly into my path and beat me back towards the first; my ribs compressing from the force. Soon the remaining five heads joined, as my body was tossed like a rag-doll between them.

Finally bored, One battered me into the ground where my bones gave one final groan of pain.

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 19

Leukos
The walls eventually opened out to reveal a dreary cityscape, filled with short rectangular buildings. At least the paths seemed to be a regular gridded shape.

“Hey, look.” Odin nudged me and pointed closer to us. I could see something moving slightly down below and turned back to Neko. I had already fried the capsule, but she hadn't quite woken up yet.

“Neko... Come on, wake up...” I shook her a little and she seemed to struggle a little.

“I think they're getting ready for us down there.” Odin said. I moved back to the edge, sure enough I could see Solarus starting to crowd the area.

“I guess we should take advantage of our height.” I said. I took out my weapon and formed a bow before seeing a slithering motion down one of the passages. I tried to take a shot, but missed.

All at once the elevator began to plummet down to ground level. My teeth were still rattling when it came to a sudden and heavy stop. I didn't have much time to recover either as bullets almost immediately began to fill the area. Odin shifted a wall between us.

“Wh-What's going on?” I turned to Neko who was groggily getting up.

Oh just a couple of hundred Solarus. You know, the usual.” Odin said. Neko shot up, checking her gloves for a moment before looking around.

“Do we know what side they're weakest on?” Odin just shrugged.

“Left wall then, we'll make a break for it.” As Odin moved to lower his wall it exploded outward towards us, an enormous serpentine head now occupied most of the tiny room we had fashioned. “Right Wall! Right!” Neko yelled, as we stumbled out.

A few feet later and another serpentine head bolted around a corner towards us. As we split to either side I noticed the Solarus had backed away in favor of this new threat. I quickly looked before kicking off the thing's enormous body and hopping onto the rooftops.

“It looks clear up here!” I called down to the other two and soon we were dashing along the roofs. As we did more snake heads rose from the pathways below, then they vanished as quickly as they had appeared.

“Just keep running!” Neko said pressing forward. However we were quickly faced by a new serpentine head. We turned to make a break but quickly found all of our exits blocked by eight serpents. I drew my new sword and got ready to fight.

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 18

Lark
With Jato now fully raging I tried to hang back and get a clear shot. The werewolf tossed Jato's staff aside, and moved to attack. He nimbly stepped away from Jato's attacks while closing distance, then in an instant he was eye level with Jato and with one kick sent Jato toppling to the ground.

I bounded over towards the staff, Jato had no chance unless he could control himself. As I reached for it a furred foot stopped me. How the wolfman managed to get there first was beyond me, but I quickly felt his claws cleave into my shoulder. He lifted me like that, letting blood ooze slowly out. Then I felt him stagger and I hit the ground.

Shakily I got up, Zephos had woken up and was attacking furiously. I drove my attention away from those two and picked up Jato's staff. His draconic form had woken up and was rampaging in the other direction thankfully. I called out to him, catching his attention before tossing the staff down.

Trusting him to take care of himself I turned on my heel and knocked back an arrow. Zephos was back on the ground now, but that just gave me several clean shots. Two of my shots hit their mark, forcing our opponent to back away, I continued my barrage and he began ducking the arrows as he moved towards me.

I kept the arrows going, slowing him whenever possible until I could feel the heat coming off his fur. In that instant Jato and a recovered Zephos both slammed into his form from opposite sides. I could hear his spine crunch; but I waited for his body to go rigid, lining my last arrow up with his forehead before releasing.

The wolfman's body collapsed to the ground, and the rest of us soon followed. I clutched my bleeding shoulder, thinking carefully over our options. I looked over to Jato and waved him over.

I need your help.” I said, as I grabbed a twig from my pouch and pressed it into the rooftop. “I'm going to grow a plant. I need you to gather it up and crush it into a paste. Then push the paste over our wounds.” I winced as my shoulder throbbed; still a sizable patch of linseed had grown; as Jato set to his task I tried to prop myself up, the pain was slowly going away on its own, but every few seconds it throbbed unbearably.

Lark...” I looked up, at Jato as he worked. “I hope I didn't hurt you guys while I was... you know.” I managed to smile.

It's alright, all you did was drive off the Solarus and get your butt kicked.”

Thanks.” He said, peeling aside the tatters of my shirt before slowly pressing the herbs into the wound. I winced at first but endured.

Alright, let's get Zephos' back. It looks like he got burned pretty badly.”

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 17

Jato
Shh.” I whispered to Lark as we rounded an ally. We had woken up to find ourselves amongst large warehouse sized buildings. There were wide streets built all over the place and many smaller alleyways. There were also Solarus, a lot of them. Fortunately they either didn't have or couldn't use their ATLAS technology. So we had been quietly slipping around the slow moving forces and looking for a way out of wherever here was. The Solarus that had been blocking our path finally moved and we slipped past. Ahead we saw something that looked like an elevator moving down towards the ground. Lark slipped up a wall to get a better look, but stayed low.

It's Zephos!” She said in an excited whisper. “He's being carried by some sort of werewolf. He looks unconscious.” I cursed under my breath, we were going to have to break cover now.

Come on, we better get as close as possible before we're found out.”

A little late Jato.” Lark said hopping down. “There's at least four groups of Solarus heading our way. I think they've turn on the ATLAS.” I gripped my staff as she drew her bow.

I don't want to have to say it but, I told you so.” I said before dashing towards the elevator.

We outran a lot of the incoming Solarus, but that did nothing to the numbers blocking the route to the elevator. We had done a good job of using the alleys for cover, thus preserving our energy, but we had no choice but a frontal attack. I felt the little pellets soaking my energy up as I closed distance and began wiping out the enemy defenses.

Not long after I began pushing my way through I felt a sharp pain in my side and looked down to see the werewolf creature Lark had mentioned, its right claw glistening with my blood. I swung at him, and he moved away. I felt woozy as he backed away. I heard a few arrows thunk into the ground in front of me. Then I heard my staff hit the floor.

Immediately I didn't feel pain anymore. My senses were sharpening rapidly, and I began scrabbling for my staff; but I couldn't find it. Then I saw the wolf-man on one of the roofs, he was taunting me with my staff.

I was bulking up, my control was beginning to fade. My vision became unfocused and blurry, and my body began thrashing wildly as I reached my full size.

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 16

Before I knew what was going on a spear came flying at me from below. I shifted out of the way in time and turned to try and spot my assailant. A second later I had a searing pain in my side as the spear had turned course and taken a chunk out of my side. It turned again, and I rapidly snapped it in two with a quick blow from my nightstick. As soon as it fell from my sight I saw three or four more rising towards me, these had those odd balls tied to them.

I spun a little as I slipped through the barrage and flew down, hoping to gain cover and find my foe. I heard a howl come from my right seconds before I was tackled to the ground. We rolled twice, and I found myself trapped in his claws, held above him like a shield; then I felt the first blow as the spears caught up with me. They wrecked the nearby machinery with their explosions. My body beat with pain as he got up slowly, dragging my limp form with him.

“Those godly bodies are pretty tough.” He lifted me easily. He was gloating, but I couldn't hear him as I felt my consciousness fading.

Anatos
I never got too far. I guess the first rule about this place is he's just waiting for the right opportunity. Walls fell from the sky, I heard Moot come to a breathing halt behind me.

“I thought you weren't going to follow me.” I said turning to him. He looked up at me and shrugged. We were boxed in, together. Wonderful, stuck with a freak. Lights came on above us, I blinked rapidly even as my body began to sweat. I clawed at my hoodie, tearing it off, then my shirt and pants, I was sweating puddles at this point and only getting hotter. I turned to Moot and saw him holding his cloak close, I almost couldn't see him thanks to the shadows. My eyes began blurring, the heat was overwhelming. My mouth went dry and I fell over. Moot knelt next to me.

“Do you trust me?” I could only lie there and stare at him. “I need your help. We can break that light, but I need your water to get close enough.”

“None... Left.” I managed to mutter.

“That's why I'm going to give you my cloak, but I need to know that you're going to help.” I nodded slowly, I was having a hard time even looking at him, much less thinking; then I felt infinitely better. There was darkness all around me. I blinked and dragged my staff to my mouth, drawing some water from my own energy to refresh myself I looked back at Moot, his uncovered body was literally blistering in the light. Still he held his weapon calmly, watching me, waiting. I aimed my staff and began drenching him. He jumped to the wall, hooking his scythe and scaling at a rapid pace. I held the stream, using what energy I had to ensure I hit.

A few seconds after I had to hit him blindly in order to not look at that light, the room went dark and I heard a thud next to me. I took a few breaths, letting energy flow back into my body before sitting up. His face was almost unrecognizable, but he was breathing, slowly. I laid back down on the dusty floor, resting and waiting for him to recover.

Eventually I heard him shuffle to his feet.

“Can I have my cloak back?” I sat up and handed him the material, he sighed as he slipped it on. “We need to keep moving.” He said, slowly moving down the now opened path. I got up and re-clothed myself before hoisting him up and helping him. Not long after, we found some stairs leading downward.

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 15

After a few minutes, two of the balls had hit random machinery and exploded. However I still had a single one left, which I continued to toss into the air on occasion. When it spontaneously exploded as well. As it did the area around me filled with the sound of howling. Looking around I spotted the source, slinking through the machinery like a giant shadow. I moved in, trying to get a better look when it leapt towards me, coming into the light.

I shifted out of the way, only being grazed by a claw. It landed heavily on all fours then slowly stood, it wore plated steel and rather than skin it had thick matted fur. I could tell he was some sort of giant wolf.

“Good boy! Do you know any more?” I asked, wondering if he knew how to fetch. Somehow I got the feeling he was glaring at me. His nose twitched a few times.

“Human.” He said. “What is your kind doing down here?”

“I'm technically a God.” I replied, wondering where he was going with this. His face lit up.

“Ah, the prophecy! I must test my metal against you!” He almost trotted over to one of the nearby machines, returning with a blazing sword and golden shield.

“Sounds like fun!” I said, tugging at my nightsticks. He charged me as I was occupied, so I moved out of the way. “I'm not ready yet!” I said, finally freeing my nightstick. “Alright, go.” He swung again, this time cutting through an overhanging piece of machinery. The beam exploded.

“So is running all you do?” He said, steadying himself and preparing to strike again.

“No. I also do scrtiches.” He seemed upset at this and began swinging wildly, his sword exploding anything it cut. I just floated out of his reach until he calmed down.

“Coward! Fight me!” He yelled.

“Is that what we're doing?” I asked down to him. He just yelled incoherently up at me. “Alright, then here I come!” I said, flying low to strike him with my nightstick.

I immediately regretted that decision. As soon as I was in range he swung, grazing my arm. However the cloth and flesh around the wound exploded, sending me veering far off course and making my landing very painful.

“Oww... Damn that hurts.” I said, getting up. I spun my weapon a little in my hand, improving the air flow in the room. He charged towards me, I ducked in to land a solid hit, but his shield came out of nowhere and knocked me across the room. A little stunned I began shaking off the damage even as he closed the distance. I shot up into the air to avoid the oncoming blow. I needed to keep some level of leverage.

“If you're going to just stay up there, then I have some toys I want you to meet!” He called up to me.

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 14

Our growing band came to the end of the path, three new paths splitting out. Me, surrounded by a band of potential liars. Just one of them could be my fall.

Fuck all of you.” I said, separating away from the others, hopefully out of range of the others.

Anatos.” Odin started.

You may want to trust these walking time bombs, but I'm out. I'm going this way, I'm finding a way out of this hell, and I'm doing it alone.” I took two more steps, and Moot took three towards me. “Get away from me!” Even as I said that walls came up between us and the rest of the group. Just me and Moot now.

Shit.” Moot muttered under his breath, his normally jocular face now a mask of contemplation. “Anatos, we're not going to get anywhere if we're running scared.” He said, taking another step.

So we should all walk around laughing and smiling like you do!?” I said back.

You're falling for his traps, even now.” Moot said, coming to a stop a few feet away. “I won't chase you if you want to be caught in a lie.”

I'm not going to be caught, I'm going to succeed.” I said, turning and dashing down the new path.

Leukos
We fell for another trap. Only one path remained, and we had been cut down to two. I looked solemnly to Odin, who pounded at the wall, but even trying to shift it caused it to only shift back. With a final thud of his fist he turned to me.

Well, I guess we've had our choices made for us.” He said, and began down the new hall.

Fortune seemed to smile on us soon however as we came across a capsule; even at a distance I could see Neko resting inside.

Neko!” I dashed over, tapping the capsule a little. She didn't budge. Odin came up as well, as soon as he did the floor began moving down; carrying the three of us with it.

Zephos
I could here Odin pounding on one of the walls behind me and rested against it for a moment. I shook myself a little, realizing whatever had gotten into Anatos was likely to affect all of us by the time this was over. I got up, looking over one of the nearby bins and picked up a few objects that looked like balls, practicing my juggling as I started down the only path left to me.

Fan Fiction Update: Into the Maw Part 3 (Chapters 9-12)

Update on FF.Net!

Enjoy!

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 13

We eventually found some stairs leading down, but paused before our decent hearing footsteps approaching rapidly behind us. I turned to see Leukos dashing towards us, his face a mess of fluids.

Leukos, are you okay? What happened?” Odin asked immediately, while I stepped away. Leukos stopped, breathing heavily, his body still shaking.

I couldn't... I couldn't help them. I tried... I tried so hard.” He said between shivering breaths. Odin lightly placed a hand on his shoulder.

What happened.”

Neko... and Pahhur... They're gone. We found this weird room, total head trip, and there was this giant dog, and I turned around one minute Pahhur was in the thing's mouth, the next both of them were sinking through the floor.” As he spoke his face glistened and droplets slid slowly to the floor.

It's alright, we'll find 'em and get them safe.” Odin said, hoisting Leukos up.

Wait! What if he's just another trap!” I yelled. Odin just looked at me.

And if he isn't?” Odin said.

Trap?” Leukos asked, his voice calming down.

Yeah, I was nearly tricked by a copy of my brother.” Leukos thought for a moment.

It was kinda weird that Pah was back in his original body.”

Probably just another trap then.” Odin said, moving towards the stairs. “Means we just need to find Neko.”

The stairs went downward, the ceiling opening up to a much better lit room stretching out below us far into the horizon. As we went down we saw the floor was littered with machines, each one moving constantly; churning out weapons and devices of all shapes and sizes. It was a literal jungle of moving parts, with only one wide path at the foot of the stairs running out past our range of vision.

Even as we reached the next floor, the landscape shifted of its own accord; primarily the one path slimmed down and nearly vanished, filled with machinery.

However there were still walkways, not fit for more than two to walk abreast, but we could at least make progress; and after a few turns and paths, we stumbled on a scene that had probably sent many of Avarus' minions away in shame.

Zephos and Moot had located a machine that was dropping what looked like turkeys into a bin. Moot was now sitting in said bin with Zephos on top of him, juggling the turkeys as they came. Each time one of said fowl fell, Moot would waste no time in grabbing and eating it, enlarging his mouth in order to do so in one gulp. I was sorely tempted to just walk away and pretend I don't know these people, considering I hadn't actually known them for too long.

Unfortunately they spotted us and stopped what they were doing.

Hey guys! Lots of cool stuff around here!” Zephos said, grabbing something from a nearby machine that was particularly sharp and pointy. Odin breathed a heavy sigh and took the object from Zephos before tossing it down the hall we had just come from.

Zephos. You have no clue where we are do you?”

Nope.”

Come on, we're getting out of here and Neko's in trouble.” Odin finally said, this worked rather well as both of them hurried up to catch up.

Announcement

Yes it's been a busy week here, so I'm going to recap what all has been happening and talk a bit about upcoming stuff.

1) New Toys!
Everyone loves new toys and I've finally gotten two up. There is the Wiki which still needs a lot of technical work to make it easier to navigate, but I am putting information up there that might not be put into the main story. Secondly we have forums now, once again improvements probably need to be made, but that will be on a per case basis.

2)New Schedule.
After a lot of consideration about this blog and how to streamline everything to make it more enjoyable, I'm going to start shifting some stuff around. The big one is going to be that I will not post Fan Fiction chapters here anymore, instead I will be putting Fan Fiction up weekly at FanFiction.Net; this is again to streamline this blog and to help clean up the Fan Fiction as well. For now this means I'm going to spread the three main story chapters across the week. This is also in order to give the fans time to digest. I am willing to do main story posts daily, but I'd need some feedback from the people. So for a least this week the schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday(Log), and Saturday. Again if the viewers want me to bump up to more days or daily I will.

(For the next two I still need to discuss with Ted so these are tentative at best)

3)Dash Retro
It been mentioned in passing up until now, but it really is on its way. Ted has all the footage and is on the final stages of editing. He predicts that the project will be complete sometime before June (We hope). I'll be getting either a written teaser or a trailer from Ted to go up on Tuesday. (Again I hope, might be postponed a week.)

4)Reviews
Not going to go too far in depth here because this will be a longer term project. But the idea of doing a video review show has been bounced around quite a bit. Sit tight and you may see what fruit that bears. (I can say for choice subject matter it will probably be a free-for-all movies, series, anime, manga, and games)

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 12

Anatos
Metudo eventually took the lead in order to let the two of us cool off; and we eventually wandered into a brightly lit room. There was a farm laid out in front of us, ripened corn just beginning to push off the stalk. A lithe woman came out of a nearby home, rushing up to Odin. As she ran, a thin white trail followed her.

“I was wondering when you'd get here.” She said, clasping onto Odin's arm. “The harvest is just about ready.” Odin just watched, slack-jawed, even allowing himself to be slowly dragged away.

“Anatos, Metudo?” I turned to the familiar voice, and saw my mother in another doorway, my father just behind her. Without thinking or doubting I went forward, the house was almost exactly as I remembered it; right down to the small pool to one side. Somewhere in my head I knew this was a trap, but I was slowly being foiled by my own nature; almost laying to rest and watch TV when a small explosion occurred outside; rousing me to the window.

Odin had collapsed the house and crushed the farm, and with wrathful eyes stormed towards ours. I went out, Metudo close behind.

“Odin, wait.” I said, trying to stop him.

“Its all a trap, a cruel, heartless trap.” He said, trying to push past me.

“I know... but... Isn't it better? They're not my parents, but they're something right? I mean we don't really know what this Avarus guy wants right?” I said; but Odin placed his hands heavily on my shoulders.

“Anatos... They are your parents... What's left of them. He's controlling their souls, Christine finally managed to break through and tell me before vanishing. This perversion has to be stopped.” He had renewed vigor, and I had no strength to stop him.

“Then that's even better right?” Metudo said, coming up behind me. “It means they're really here, everything's just like you remember it.” He was holding me now. I didn't know what to think, then his face was gone; his body became stone and crumbled away while Odin sheathed his sword.

“More lies.” He said, turning and shifting the ground to crush the house. I fell in the dust that had been my brother.

“How?”

“We've walked into hell.” Odin said, slowly sheathing his blade. “Where Satan built Heaven in his image.” He started back into the tunnels, and after a moment I followed.

I honestly do not know how this post got so messed up for those who saw it before 10:00 eastern.

Logs: Persia Neko

Title: Goddess of Animals
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Physical Age: 19
Height: 1.67m
Weight: 61kg
Hair Color: Assumed Green; Normally brown, but on closer inspection multiple colors can be seen just under the primary layer.
Eye Color: Green
Skin Color: White
Blood Type: AB+

Physical Abnormalities:
Her genetic code is unstable, creating and removing mutations when she is not mentally preventing them.
It's also assumed that at some point after her transformation, she used her powers to change her hair color; since other Gods usually have to live with their hair becoming the same color as their energy.

Notable Weaponry:
Cat Claws: Inherited from her predecessor, these enhance physical strength greatly, as well as store a bank of genetic information that she can use to inflict and focus mutations.

Notable Techniques:
Transformation: Neko's genetic structure is malleable, and allows her to alter her form, this can be as simple as increasing muscle mass or as complicated as becoming flight capable.
Panther: One of her preferred forms, either as a full panther or a half-form.
Raven: Another preferred form.

Forums!

Hooray for Good Friday, using my new free time I finally got around to putting up FORUMS

Go have a ball!

Wiki

Yes it's a little early to have one, but I'm using it to organize some of the excess information that is necessary to write Dimensional Warriors. I finally have it (mostly) up and running and don't mind if people add to it (I'll obviously remove anything that is outright ludicrous.) So go check it out, I have somewhat corrected character profiles up for all the characters Tech has logged so far as well as some basic other basic information.

Also if someone could please give me a hand when it comes to categories. I can't seem to figure out how to work those.

Thank you!

Choji
Oy! Nami! Zoro! Can you hear me!” I held my ears desperately as Luffy continued to yell down the corridors. We had woken up a little while ago in capsules, aside from myself and Luffy; Sanji, Chopper, Antoine, Miroku, Genma and Roshi were with us.

Please, I'm sure everyone can hear you Luffy.” Genma said, his eyes swimming. Luffy just stared at Genma for a little while before returning to screaming at the top of his lungs.

Can... Someone shut him up?” I turned to the new voice, Soifon had appeared down one of the corridors, but she was breathing heavily and her left arm was wrapped in scraps of clothing. Chopper acted quickly. However he was quickly baffled by the slow spread of infection. He asked her to rest, in order to slow the spread.

So after a bit of debate most of them were going to settle into the tunnel while Chopper began treating her. I was asked to go with Luffy and find help, preferably Orihime.

So the two of us set off, Luffy still yelling at the top of his lungs as we ran.

Sanji
No sooner had those two left, than the ceiling came down behind them. Seconds later the remaining halls filled with the clanking metal, I could make out Solarus crowding down the halls towards us.

Protect Soifon!” I yelled over to Miroku who made a curt nod and opened his wind tunnel down one of the passages. I kicked out the support of one of the remaining two, sealing the tunnel before charging down the last, drawing their fire for a few seconds before cleaving into their numbers.

Koga
The floor finally stopped falling and I turned to see if I could spot the humans, unfortunately there was only darkness.

I hope they're alright.” Ayame said, I turned away and started back down the tunnels.

Come on, we've gotta keep moving.” I said feeling her catch up to me.

Koooga-kun!” A familiar sweet voice filled the tunnel as I heard footsteps rushing down one of the many branching paths. I turned seeing Kagome dashing up the tunnel, stopping only after she had pressed her small body into my arms.

Kagome!? Are you alright? Is there anyone else with you?” She shook her head violently, not moving away from me.

Koga...” Ayame was glaring at the two of us. I could feel her burning fury piercing my backside.

Kagome... Where's InuYasha?” I asked.

I don't know, but I did find you!” Her arms came around my neck, drawing me down into what I knew was going to be hell.

I see how things are.” Ayame said, after elbowing the back of my head. She stomped off down a passage and out of sight.

Ayame wait!” I cried out, trying to pull myself away from Kagome; the walls however sealed up behind her, cutting us off. Even as I tried to reconcile what had just happened I felt something odd wrapping around my chest.

Kagome's arms had become stone, as had large parts of her body, and they were slowly enveloping me. The last thing I remember was sinking into the floor and blacking out.

The tunnel paths twisted and turned, seemingly endlessly drenched in dim, hopeless, light. We relied on the two demon noses in the group, praying we would run into some of the others.

“To the left, the smell is particularly strong.” Ayame said, but stopped soon after turning. “Wait. Somethings wrong.” It didn't take us long to find out what, as out of the poor lit tunnels we saw people shambling towards us, even my nose was assaulted by a sudden stench of rot and decay.

“Lets... Not go this way.” I said, tapping Koga's shoulder. He looked at the other passages and nodded. Even as we turned around two of the three paths began filling with the same stench of decay, Koga and Ayame were forced to hold their noses shut, and even with that countermeasure were slowly being overwhelmed.

“Here.” Soifon said, pointing to the only remaining path. We slipped past as she used a bit of shinigami magic to block off the other passages. This thankfully dulled the smell, however before we knew it, a pit was opening behind us. Soifon turned only to have the ceiling come down between us. Akari was caught by the falling floor, Shinosuke reached out to her, but also began falling. I of course jumped after them, ready to smash anything that might be at the bottom of the pit.

Of course the bottom was lined with spikes, and of course I summoned my spirit sword and used it as a perch for the three of us. Problem was, we were trapped, and my energy wouldn't hold out forever. However it was proved unnecessary, as the spikes became tendrils, reaching up towards us.

I made sure Akari was holding on to me tightly as I released the sword that was holding us up, crafting another one as we fell. Shinosuke had his broom prepared, and the two of us began battering away the multiple tendrils until our feet found soft ground.

The light of my sword showed some form of path ahead, so we charged, cutting and pushing our way through the sea of tendrils.

Soifon
I was alone now, but that was for the best. I turned to see to the oncoming horde, trying to pick the path of least resistance before the weak barriers fell. Kido was not my strongest suit, I finally chose and drew my zanpakuto. I felt I would need some distance, and my Shikai was just not built for taking out multiple opponents.

I made my break, cutting into the first creature with a swift and clean blow, before turning into a kick and charging my body with energy blasting a small path through the clumped together foes. With another kick off I bolted through, and sped well out of range of the shambling foes, suffering only a small scratch from one of their claws.

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 11

Leukos
Neko, Move!” I turned in time to see Pah grab Neko before an enormous jaw clamped down on him. My eyes traveled to the creature that had attacked seconds before another head plummeted towards me. Plenty of time for me to step out of the way. Neko was on the ground with Pah, and seemed to be trying to fix him, as the three-headed beast loomed overhead I drew my weapon, launching two arrows to get its attention.

No sooner had its six eyes focused on me, then a bone shaking blow rippled through my body. As I twirled in the air I caught sight of the creature's massive paw. I struggled against the pain and managed to stand back up in time to see Neko being dragged into the floor, Pahhur's body now apparently made of stone. My mind was reeling even as the beast closed in on me.

Before I knew what had happened everything went dark; and slimy. I shook out of my daze and channeled a little energy into my fingers creating some light. I was in a dark, fleshy cave, as the walls moved in a slow pulse I entertained no questions as to my location.

I began searching, but soon realized that wherever I was, it was man-made. The walls were relatively flat, and there seemed to be no openings. As much as I was going to probably suffocate, it didn't seem likely I was going to be digested. This theory was further proven when I stumbled across a body.

It's shape was strange, sporting several long limbs attached to a main body, it also showed no signs of decay. I could only guess how long they had been in here; then I noticed something else. In it's clawed hand was a blade wedged into the floor of the room. I looked around, noticing the deep scars in the surrounding tissue where the blade had cut deep. Thus I used some energy to turn my own weapon into a blade.

After a couple of quick slashes, it quickly became obvious the creature wasn't feeling a thing; and all I was doing was wasting valuable air. After a moment I chose my only remaining option and pried the blade loose from the dead creature's hand. Almost immediately, the entire sword lit up, the blade extending, revealing little slits in the metal. I began to pull it out of the floor, but half the blade seemed to stay behind, a bright electrical light channeling between the half in my hand and the half in the floor.

Curious I tested an idea, watching as a piece of the metal slowly separated from the half in my hand and slid along the electrical link to the half in the ground, leaving another link in its wake. I could feel my lungs starting to burn so I had no time left. Instead I focused on the tip of that blade, pushing it with my mind further into the creature; hunting for a way out.

I felt a small breeze, realizing I had cut right through I make the link go rigid and sliced upwards, cleaving the flesh open. I could see blood and a putrid material spilling on the floor outside, even as the monster tottered to one side and fell, shaking the tunnel.

I managed to get a few steps away from the carcass before loosing what little food I had all over the floor. A minute later I recovered to my feet and fled the gruesome scene and returned to wandering the tunnels.

Dimensional Warriors: Into the Maw Chapter 10

Neko
Let's try this way guys.” Pah said, peeking down a corridor. “I see some light.” Sure enough there seemed to be a bright room at the end of that tunnel, and honestly anything was better than these dim-lit tunnels. With a quick nod we followed along behind, until the tunnel opened out into a large room. The ground had painted white tile, the walls were a sky blue, and a bright light seemed to radiate throughout the room. There were houses, a path, white picket fences, even ephemeral people waving to us as we explored.

What the hell is this?” Leukos asked, instantly cautious.

Look food!” Pahhur yelled, overwhelming his brother's argument and rushing to a laid out table. The both of us sighed as he attacked the laid out bread basket. I chose to ignore his stupidity, and look around. The place reeked of a trap, I knew it, Leukos knew it, Pah... We might have to drag him by the scruff.

Move!” I was knocked off my feet and out of my thoughts quite suddenly. I looked up to see Pahhur embracing me, even as a small trail of blood dribbled down his face. The room had dimmed quite substantially, but most noticeably, a giant black dog now filled most of the room. It's jaws were now firmly clamped on either side of Pahhur's body, I felt it shake the both of us a little before releasing its grip. With a fuller view I could see the creature had two other heads on either side of the one that had attack.

My attention was quickly locked on Pahhur, he was bleeding a lot.

Neko...” He rasped, lifting a weak hand.

Shh... It'll be alright. You'll be fine.” I said, hurriedly ripping his shirt into strands to try and stop the bleeding.

I've always...”

I said be quiet, you start talking like that and you won't make it.” Even as I spoke I felt another presence in the room. By some will, not my own my head turned slightly to see the image of a man. His image was purely white, from the robes to his wings to his skin.

This man will die.” It spoke, almost in a commanding tone.

No, no he won't.” I couldn't help the tears coming down.

I could save him.” He paused, watching me tie another bandage. “All you have to do is help me.” I paused for a moment.

What do you want?” I asked.

Just your help at some point in time, at my choosing.” My brain seemed to freeze. Nothing added up here, but as Pahhur's body shuddered under my hands I knew I couldn't just watch him die.

Alright. I'll do it.” Pah's body went rigid for a moment, then he breathed steadily and looked up at me. His eyes a pitch black. Before I knew anything, he was holding me, pulling me close. Then I realized his arms were not flesh, but stone. A moment later I was surrounded by darkness.
